PTO clutch brakes are mounted on engine shafts of zero turn mowers, tractors, and more.  Most often, they are used to engage/disengage the cutting blades.  They also have a brake function to help stop the blades quicker when the clutch is disengaged.

With the push towards electrically driven vehicles, we are excited to dedicate a portion of our booth to electromagnetic parking brakes.  We also display general purpose engine mounted clutches for mobile equipment.  We have pump and compressor clutches for mobile equipment as well.  Lastly, outside, we have one of our superchargers on display. 

Electromagnetic spring applied brakes are used for parking brakes.  They also can handle dynamic emergency stops. When power is applied, the brake is released.  When power is removed, the brake engages, with either stopping or holding torque.

Ogura brand is recognized worldwide for top quality, reliability, performance and dependability. 

Ogura GT series PTO clutch-brakes are made in a variety of configurations and typically mount on gas and diesel engines rated up to 40 HP. Bore sizes match the typical engine shaft sizes. Pulley sizes can vary based on machine requirements. Some have hub outputs to mount your own pulley, sprocket or coupling half. Clutch torque is rated up to 400 lb-ft on the larger units. These clutches typically operate on 12 or 24VDC.
