How can I make my machine run faster?
AM series clutches and brakes for high cycling.
We're like machines, made to push harder and go faster, get more done in the same amount of time. When we push a machine (or ourselves), we test our limits and sometimes adjustments need to be made, or the parts fail prematurely. For high cycling applications, throughput and uptime are key, but we need to make sure that we are working with the right equipment.
These high cycling demands can be seen anywhere, but are often in lab and factory automation, sorting and packaging, printing, medical equipment, and doors and gates to name a few.
Ogura AMC and AMB series clutches and brakes are made to withstand that high cycle environment. They are optimized for efficiency, and they transfer heat well. Some are even made with special friction materials such as ceramics to extend life even further while running cooler at the same time. Static torque rating for the AM series is 2 in-lbs (0.25 Nm) to 70 in-lbs (8 Nm).
Benefits of using Ogura AM series clutches and brakes:
- High cycle rates
- Efficient cooling
- Low power requirements
- Special materials available
- Long life
- Quality
- Zero backlash
- Current controls torque
