V Series clutches and brakes have several design options to match your application needs.
As humans, we're not all the same. Not all applications are the same either. So, why be limited in your selection? When it comes down to it, we like to have options. For industrial power-on clutches and brakes, it also makes sense. Many of these components are used in medical equipment, printing, doors & gates, sorting and inserting, lab and factory automation, and packaging.
Ogura VB and VC series brakes and clutches have the following options to choose from:
Zero backlash feature for high position accuracy
Silent feature which dampens vibration upon engagement
Higher torque feature which results from a higher capacity coil
Auto-adjust feature where it automatically adjusts for wear
One piece design where it is preassembled at the factory for easy assembly
So, as the saying goes, one size doesn't always fit all. You can pick and choose or combine some of these wanted features. Static torque ratings for the V series are 4 lb-ft (6 Nm) to 44 lb-ft (60 Nm).
