The blowers are designed to run on an automotive engine, so they are not effected by normal hot and cold temperatures nor are they effected by vibration and moisture. Each unit is completely sealed and they can last thousands of hours in the most grueling conditions.

The lobes within the Ogura blowers are light weight aluminum and they have a special coating that helps them to adapt to thermal expansion which helps them maintain tight tolerances to maintain high efficiencies. The input to the blower can be controlled with an electric motor or can run right off the engine by utilizing an electromagnetic clutch. Much like the air-conditioning compressor clutch in your vehicle, the clutch can be engaged and disengaged to supply air volume only when needed.
