Building on the strengths of the previous Metal Clutch series, we've increased the half-clutch range, creating a strengthened clutch that's easy to use. SMOOTH HALF-CLUTCH OPERATION: By adopting a CUSHIONING MECHANISM for the pressure plate, the half-clutch range has been greatly expanded. This clutch eliminates the difficulty of riding that is peculiar to reinforced clutches and enables smooth half-clutching.
DRIVETRAIN PROTECTION: By increasing the half-clutch area, we have reduced the impact torque when the clutch is engaged during a shift change.
The SE Clutch offers 40% reduction in impact torque compared to our standard for transmissions and differential gears. It reduces the impact on the drive shaft and protects the drive system.
